Together with my friend Heather and the crew we set our sails for Agefarre 2017, this edition was going to be unique since Domino was performing live. Domino flew all the way down from Italy, which is where I visited her as well at SCP Music to make a little video about Eurobeat music production in Italy, the source of all the glorious Eurobeat and Hyper Techno music.
Agefarre often has a wide variety of different electronic music genres ranging from Eurobeat, Hyper Techno to Trance, Psy and Goa.
Seeing my Japanese friends again after 2 years was a blessing, it meant many tequila shots and a painful hangover the next morning but totally worth it. Drinks at Agefarre start at 500 yen, even for a bottle of water, so keep that in mind, before you know it you'll be emptying out your wallet.
We often start the night at a "no-bullshit" izakaya dinner party for a quality get togeter and catch up on all things Eurobeat and ParaPara. This year we were joined by members from Indonesia for their first Agefarre experience, wise choice my friends!
The live show of Domino at the SEF Legend Island stage was a success, she seems to have loved every second of it. The audience had a blast singing along with songs like Mickey Mouse and Tora Tora Tora.
Lolita is another famous Eurobeat artist performing live with songs Romeo & Juliet, Everybody Dance and Try Me. Together with Domino they make up the duo: Go Go Girls.
Sadly, my Japanese is only basic so my conversations are often quite limited. Definitely something I need to work on before my next trips to Japan.
