Halloween 2013 Yipyips Invasion at Climax Media
Climax Media organizes an annual Halloween Potluck party at the office and encourages everyone to dress up and participate in the pumpkin carving competition
It's Halloween once again at Climax Media so it's time to bust out our costumes and cooking skills for our annual hotpot party.
A hotpot is an event where every individual bring his/hers own home cooked dish and in a company where almost everyone has a different background you end up with the most international food feast you can imagine.
I dressed up as a skeleton which was quite different from my last year's Thor costume.
For the hotpot I brought a popular Dutch dish called: Broodje Kroket, which is a Dutch delicacy.
I was impressed with how well some colleagues were dressed up, especially the ones dressed as the infamous Yip-Yips.
Even our company mascot dog Jacob was wearing a little uniform.
The pumpkin carving event wasn't as detailed as last year but we still ended up with quite a few amazing creations.
The food dishes ranged from delicious food from Persia (Iran), Holland, Indian, Sri Lankan, Brazilian, Tunisian, Chinese, Polish to American and of course Canadian.
Some of the highlight costumes this year was Pete as Rob Ford, Steve as an original World War I soldier and Adam, Poyan, Jane and Mario as the Yip-Yips.
