Best Cottage Experience In Canada At Curve Lake

First Nation is known for its incredible cottages around Curve Lake, we rented a giant cottage on a peninsula complete with jacuzzi, boats, kitchen, BBQ, fire pit and TV. It was 3 days of absolute mayhem and highly recommended!

4 Days & 4 Nights of absolute cottage mayhem up north in Ontario, Canada. I don't think I have ever had this much fun in my life. We booked a cottage at Curve Lake First Nation for the canada day long weekend.

The place came with tons of facilities (washrooms, kitchen, tv, bbq, boat, fire pits, fire wood, etc.)

We rented the cottage for the entire weekend. It was situated on its own peninsula at Curve Lake with a magnificent view.

It was quite the drive up. After a few hours on the road we got lost somewhere around Peterborough and took us at least 30 minutes to find the right road to the sticks.

The Activities: Special acoustic performance around the fire place by Eryk featuring the sounds of Bob Marley, Golf Lessons by Mr B. – get free tips and pointers on your golf swing, Sunrise Fishing Trip - finishing at 5am (wake and bake special) and Boating & Beats – adventurous boat ride featuring sick house beats and tube rides.

Our cottage checklist: Clothing – first 2 days are going to be in the low 20s so bring some warm clothes other than that just bring summer and swimming stuff, Fun stuff – fishing rod (renew finishing license), golf club, kite, soccer ball, football, guitar, ipod. water toys, outdoor patio chairs, BOOZE, Toiletries – towels, toilet paper, tooth brush, soap, shampoo and Bedding - sleeping bag, blow up mattresss (if you have one), pillow.

On the menu we had: Jerk Chicken Drum Sticks, Jerk Chicken Chicken Breasts, Hot Wing Rosemary Drum Sticks, BBQ Chicken Breasts, Hot Italian Sausages, Burgers, Wholegrain Buns, Cold Cuts, Pineapple, Eggs, Bacon, All kinds of Vegetables for Salad & Grilling, Fruit – Watermelon, Pineapple, Melon, Croissants, Assorted Gourmet Muffins, Corn and Chips.
