A compilation of all my nights out in Shibuya, the fashion district of Tokyo.
I went to Shibuya many times throughout the month of August to meet friends, go clubbing and play as many videogames as I mentally could.
It would be a dream-come-true to own an apartment in this great district one day but unfortunately afforable condos are very hard to find due to its popular status.
The most incredible thing was running into my friend Yuko, who I haven't seen in 4 years, in a random SEGA arcade in Shibuya. In a metropolitan of 30 million people odd things can happen but this literally blew my mind.
I am a little disappointed that the Japanese government still allows smoking in nightclubs in Japan. It's quite gross, especially when your clothes smell disgusting the day after.
On a random Saturday night I decided to visit one of my old favorite places called 'Club Camelot' - nothing has really changed in the past for 4 years, still the same music and similar crowd which is good. Camelot is a great spot to party in Tokyo but I urge you to learn basic Japanese prior to visiting.
One of my favorite arcade games I played in Shibuya were definitely; Super Mario DX, Dark Escape 3D and SEGA MaiMai.
My current favorite places in Shibuya:- Shibuya 109 + Shibuya 109 Men's (shopping)- Club SEGA (to start off your night)- Club Camelot (pop,house)- Club Womb (drum&bass)- Club ATOM (trance)- Shibuya O-East (special events)
