Star Fire: Best ParaPara Event In The World
Dancing ParaPara alongside the famous Hyper Techno Waros was a dream come true. Star Fire is a monthly ParaPara event held in the basement of the Pasela Resort in Ginza.
One of the reasons I went back to Japan was to participate in an actual ParaPara event and what better than Star Fire.
The event took place at Pasela Ginza, a very expensive and highclass karaoke-bar-resort facility.
I entered the basement but a basement unlike I have ever seen before. Loud Eurobeat, lots of disco lights and a serious party crowd. These are the kinda nights which make Tokyo unique in the world.
It took me a while to find Pasela, after arriving at 1am at Tokyo station (remember in Tokyo the parties get good way past midnight). Luckily some Lawson employees showed me the way.
Upon arrival I met up with Heather (one of my American friends) and we had a few drinks. It was a pretty interesting night since both Ryuichi and Kazu from the Hyper Techno Waros were present.
Kotomin had a birthday party which turned into a cake fight. Cake-in-the-face is a pure tradition at Star Fire.
After leaving the event at 7am we decided to grab some breakfast across the street where I ordered a killer soup which was delicious.
