Team Japan in Toronto: Eating Natto
During an enjoying summer with my Japanese friends in Canada I ended up at their house party where they made me eat the traditional Japanese meal Natto which is fermented soybeans and this is what I thought of it
I made some great friends last summer with peeps from Japan. It is great to experience a little bit of Japan in Toronto.
One of the things they make me try was the famous dish called Natto which is fermented Japanese soybeans.
The fermented soybeans was definitely an acquired taste and smiley as hell but after conquering living octopus in Korea this was a walk in the park.
I took my friend Kanako to the Scarborough Bluffs on a sunny weekend afternoon where we hung at the beach and the rocks.
We had brunch in the Kensington district at KOS restaurant where they know how to serve a proper breakfast.
After the Scarborough Bluffs we had dinner in Greek Town at a fabulous Greek restaurant.
All of us also attended a big rave at the Guvernment where I unfortunately don't remember much from.
It is sad that the Summer is over but that is the great thing about living in Canada, it always makes you crave for next year's Summer even more.
