Backstage VIP at Ultra Japan 2015
Exclusive backstage VIP access at the largest EDM festival in Japan, I was baffled when I received a last minute call since Ultra Japan 2015 was sold out months prior. It was an unforgettable experience and I am so happy to share this experience with you!

Ultra Japan had 40,000 attendees this year and featured DJ's like Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Zeds Dead, Dash Berlin and David Guetta to name a few.
On an average Monday morning I received a call that I was welcome to pick up a backstage VIP wristband at Ultra Japan 2015 when the event was already underway.

Mesmerized by the call, I jumped in the shower, got my GoPro and other camera gear ready and rushed to the subway station on-route to Odaiba Island.
My heart dropped when they handed me the exclusive access at the VIP gate, surprisingly it was a mind job trying to find the backstage entrance points. After an hour of searching I came to the conclusion that I actually had access to literally the entire venue.

I started my exploration adventure of the venue at the light booth where the light show guys were coordinating the effects on stage including the pyrotechnics.
To get backstage I had to pass 6 high security check points to get to my friends, I also noticed a private Red Bull bar and private sushi bar for all the DJ's and people backstage.
In the process I met Dash Berlin, Zeds Dead and Alesso, and a whole bunch of other cool people.
It must have been one of the best times of my life being able to record such incredible video footage and I hope to be able to do it all over again at Ultra Japan 2016!
