We started the night on Alexanderplatz, the main plaza in East Berlin surrounded by great bars and lounges.

It was Christmas thus the plaza is loaded with German beerhalls where lots of beer is being poured and German folklore blasts out the speakers.

After the beerhall party we decided to go to Tresor, a German techno club located in an old underground prison.

Tresor is a great place and counts many floors with different genres of music, definitely a highlight.

Kosmonaut is located in the east end of the city and has an amazing underground vibe to it. It is a bunch of random rooms interconnected with a large outdoor courtyard. Definitely check this place out during the summer months in Berlin.

We ended the night eating a delicious Doner Kebab which is the famous local Berlin shawarma and cannot be compared to anything they sell in North-America. Simply DELICIOUS!

Why not Berghain you may ask? The people I met throughout the night weren't able to get in even a bunch Dutch guys, which I thought shouldn't have a problem at the door, said they waited for 3 hours and were denied. Enough reason for me to not waste my precious time.
