Nothing is more enjoyable than flying back for Christmas and New Year's to see my family and catch up with my Dutch friends over a few cold brewskis.
During my stay in IJmuiden I was fortunate enough to join a tiny high school reunion at a few bars in the city of Haarlem.

The highlight was soaking a piece of ootoro, Bluefin fatty tuna from the local sushi parlor, on my tongue while enjoying its delicious deep flavors.
All I can say is; I already look forward to my next visit, but next time during the hot Dutch Summer.
