Snowplanet: Largest Indoor Snow Park In The Netherlands
We do not get much snow in the Netherlands nor do we have hills so snowboarding at an indoor hill near Amsterdam is a unique experience for most local Dutch people.
My mom thought it would be fun to catch up on our ski and snowboard skills we learned earlier this year in the Seefeld in the Austrian Alps at the Gschwandtkopf.
Snowplanet is a giant indoor ski/snowboard hill which can accomodate 2500 individuals.
We also had a Christmas dinner on the top floor. Dinner existed out of a cheese fondue and a grill for meat and vegetables. It was a buffet so we stuffed ourselves royally.
I bumped my head brutally while getting dressed against a locker door someone left open above me while I was below it, so that was a pretty bad start of the event.
You can see me sitting on the dinner table with a sack of ice on my head to ease the pain and bruise.
The hill was pretty lame and I kept falling in the skilift, the lift was truly not designed for snowboarders so if you are a skiier definitely go, but snowboarders should stay away.
