Why Go Sailing On Lake Ontario?

The Summer of 2012 will go down in my book for one thing: Sailing. I learned so much this year sailing on lake Ontario that I feel confident that we can take on bigger challenges.
It will be a dream to sail either in the Caribbean or Mediterranean Sea.
We took out a bunch of boats this summer from the Harbourfront Centre Sailing & Powerboating. To name a few; a J-42, catamaran and a hobie cat. All fantastic boats which spark a lot of fun on Lake Ontario.
We were fortunate enough to have a fantastic long summer which allowed us to sail almost every weekend.
I usually packed a bluetooth speaker for some good beats on the water, fruits, chips and other snacks.
If you do decide on sailing in Toronto, make sure to pack a sweater since it could turn quite chilly at times.
The view from the lake of the Toronto skyline is magnificent. I am proud to live in such a gorgeous and fun city.
We also saw the Toronto Airshow from the lake, we tried to get closer but the water police had us turn the ship around.
