My Dad's First Trip To Canada
It may not seem like much but it is a huge deal for someone from Europe to visit North-America. The best part is people's reactions to the size of our streets, fast-food portions and buildings
My father finally visited me after 10 years of settling down in Canada. As I expected he was blown away be the giant streets and buildings, it is fun reliving my initial impressions through someone else's experiences.
My brother and his girlfriend came along as well to support my father on certain days when I had to go to work.
We started the vacation with a fancy dinner at Hunters Restaurant from across the street of my house.
On day 1) I took them to the popular Scarborough Bluffs which offers a gorgeous beach on the east side of Toronto.
2) Sushi & Billiards at my building community center.
3) A visit to the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum)
4) Casa Loma and a bicycle tour around Toronto Island
5) A night out on Queen W. for some beers and random fun.
6) Watching Guardian of the Galaxy at the Cineplex downtown Toronto
This article features part 1 of their trip to Canada and part 6 (BONUS) which was a Tetris Attack match-off battle between me and my brother.

Some of the video is shot in Dutch but when I have time I'll try to translate it through the special CC function within YouTube videos.
