Get Your Freak On At Kyushu Festival In Tokyo For Epic Ramen
Eating delicious ramen at the Kyushu festival in the Shibuya district where encountered colorful individuals queueing for the SID concert.
I only had one week left to spend in Tokyo after my crazy travel tour from eastern to western Japan.
On a nice sunny Sunday afternoon I headed out to Yoyogi Park in Harajuku.
On Sundays you can always experience the most interesting things in Harajuku. Many go dressed in costumes and 'cosplay' on the bridge between Harajuku and Yoyogi Park.
Many amateur bands are planning on the streets on Sunday. After checking out the park I walked over this interesting bridge which ends up at the Yoyogi Stadium.
There was a huge lineup all the way around the stadium, mainly all girls dressed in gothic lolita outfits. I walked to the front of the line to see who was performing the stadium concert. To my surprise I noticed SID was playing.
I made my way around Yoyogi and ended up at the Kyushu Festival which was pretty funny since I just came from Kyushu (the most western home island of Japan).
They were serving great dishes and other traditional Kyushu meals. See the video for more details.
By the way, the band playing in the video was amazing! If anybody knows their name or website, let me know.
